Students are housed at the NC State Highway Patrol Training Academy, located at 3318 Garner Road.

Students are assigned two people to a room. Dorm rooms will remain open for those who choose to stay in Raleigh over the weekends.

You may check into your room after 4:00 p.m. on the Tuesday before the start date of AOMP Orientation.

The cafeteria is in Building #8 and provides the following meal times:

  • Breakfast from 7:00-8:00AM
  • Lunch from 11:30AM-1:00PM
  • Dinner from 4:45-5:45PM

The cafeteria closes after lunch on Friday. If you plan to spend weekends at the Training Center, you will have to make arrangements for your weekend meals.

The Center has gym facilities, a weight room, and a track. AOMP students receive linens and towels, and can use the small refrigerator in the Lambert Building. Laundry service is available at a cost through the Highway Patrol Training facility, but students have sometimes opted to use commercial laundromats.

AOMP Classes are held at the new Law Enforcement Training Center , located at 2300 Law Enforcement Drive, Raleigh, NC 27610.
